Crashing sounds ripped through the CEO’s office again.

His secretary cowered just outside the door, too terrified to step inside.

He’d pulled every string for the past month, but it was useless. He simply couldn’t get his boss’s travel ban lifted

Suddenly, the door was yanked open. Ethan stood there, face dark as a storm.

I’m going to Avalon tomorrow. Fake ID.”

Files scattered as the secretary gasped.”M-Mr. Carter… if they catch you, you’ll go to jail!”

Ethan’s gaunt face was hollow with exhaustion. “I don’t care anymore,” he rasped. “It’s Luna and Noah’s wedding tomorrow. I have to stop it. This is probably my last shot.”

Meanwhile, at Avalon’s most luxurious Rose Vineyard, Noah had shelled out hundreds of millions of dollars to transform the wedding venue.

The entire estate was blanketed in Ecuadorian roses; every single bloom, meticulously hand-picked by him.

The pianist’s set list? He’d personally agonized over it for five straight sleepless nights.

Even the fireworks were custom-made into sunflower patterns, exactly to my liking. They’d even burst into my name

at the most romantic moment.

The whole place just screamed how much Noah cared about me.

The bells chimed-

The officiant’s deep voice boomed, “Mr. Walker, do you take…”

Before he could even finish, Noah answered without hesitation.”I do.”

“Ms. Bennett, do you take…”

“She doesn’t!”

The banquet hall doors burst open. A tall figure stood silhouetted against the light!

Ethan’s suit was rumpled, his chest heaving.

“Luna…” His voice was raw, like he’d been crying.”Please don’t marry him.”

I didn’t spare him a glance, didn’t even turn my head.

“I do, Mr. Officiant. Please continue.”

The pain in Ethan’s eyes was instantly replaced by pure madness.

“Luna, if you insist on marrying someone else, then… we die together!”

My heart lurched. I whipped my head around. Ethan was strapped with bombs, red lights blinking non-stop like a death warrant

“You’re insane?!”

Ethan’s laugh was chilling, his eyes, wild and obsessive, snapping onto mine. “Luna,” he sneered, “you finally bothered to look my way.”

Instantly, the guests scattered, bolting for the exits.

The vast ballroom emptied out in an instant, leaving only the three of us.

My fingers dug deep into my palms, my whole body shaking uncontrollably. “What the hell do you want?

“Come with me.” Ethan’s eyes burned into mine.”Just give me one more chance.”

“No way in hell I’m forgiving you.”

“Then let’s just die.”

He said it like a spoiled brat, his voice thick with the stubborn insistence of a child who had to have his favorite toy

Noah stepped forward, shielding me.”Don’t give in to his threats. I’ll die right here with you.”

I bit my lip hard, shaking my head with difficulty.”But I can’t, Noah. I won’t drag you down with me.”

With that, I fixed Ethan with an icy stare. “You get three days, that’s it. If you can’t get me to come around by then, you let me go. And you never, ever come near me again.”

Noah started to protest, but I squeezed his hand.”Trust me,” I whispered.”I’m coming back for you. We’re getting

married.”

Ethan looked delirious with joy, practically dragging me away.

Noah had already calmed himself. He ordered his men to shadow us.

Ethan missed the truth, but he understood one thing: I wouldn’t change my mind. Not for anything else. Just for my mom’s life.

I didn’t know that every touch I gave the pure one… his twin felt it too. Every gasp. Every shiver. Broadcast straight into his brother’s body.
